Early Childhood Developmental Evaluation

Includes Brief Assessment, Report & Referrals

An early childhood developmental evaluation is provided by a Licensed Psychologist, for children ages 2-5 years old. This type of evaluation is meant to provide an in-depth assessment across the developmental areas that are important in early childhood, via a brief and timely assessment process. Results will identify targeted areas of concern that indicate recommended follow up with a specialist. Early identification of developmental concerns is crucial in providing the opportunity to access treatment and services. Areas of assessment include the following:

• Cognitive and early learning skills
• Attention and memory
• Daily self-care skills
• Social skills
• Communication (receptive and expressive)
• Motor skills (gross and fine motor)
