Nadiia Pavlenko

Nadiia Pavlenko is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Freedom First Psychological Services, PLLC, where she provides therapy to adults.
She specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, addictive behaviors, stress, anger management concerns, and interpersonal or life adjustment challenges. Nadiia has several years of experience treating alcohol and substance use disorders.
Nadiia earned her degree in Psychology from Tavrida National University in Ukraine and a Master’s degree in Community Counseling Psychology from The Sage Colleges. She is certified in Forensic Mental Health and Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT), and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
Fluent in Russian and Ukrainian, Nadiia brings a culturally responsive approach to her work. She also has extensive experience supporting clients through family stressors, parenting challenges, and major life transitions. Her therapeutic style is collaborative and individualized, drawing from Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychotherapy (PPT), client-centered approaches, and mindfulness-based techniques.
