Amy Andrukonis, LMSW
Amy is a Licensed Master Social Worker providing services to children and their families. Amy has experience serving clients in individual therapy, group therapy, and parent coaching. Amy has also worked as an elementary school social worker. Amy received her Masters in Social Work, with a trauma certificate, from Boston College.
Amy enjoys working with children and families navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and a child’s challenging behaviors. She knows that each child is unique and never takes a one-size-fits-all approach to working with children. She prioritizes children feeling safe in the therapy space and centers their goals, interests and values in her treatment approach. In parent work, Amy emphasizes the importance of parent-child relationships. Amy believes that behavior is communication and advocates for respectful approaches and warm boundaries with children. Amy is also available to support parents of young children experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and burnout.
Amy primarily uses CBT, DBT, and play-based strategies. Amy also incorporates Internal Family Systems, Solutions Focused strategies and mindfulness work into her practice.
