Tom Templeton, LMHC

Tom
Templeton is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, providing therapy services for
Freedom First Psychological Services, PLLC. Tom
has several years of experience in behavioral health, having served children
and adults in multiple capacities throughout his career. Although the breadth
of his clinical training allows him to see clients with a wide variety of
challenges – all of whom are welcome at Freedom First – Tom most closely
focuses on the issues faced by couples and children/families.
Tom
graduated from Siena College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and
Psychology, and from The College of Saint Rose with a Master of Science in
Education degree in Community Mental Health Counseling.
Most
recently, Tom served as the Assistant Director of the Behavioral Health Center
at Northeast Parent and Child Society in Schenectady. Previously, he was the
Public Policy and Advocacy Specialist at the NY Association of Psychiatric
Rehabilitation Services. Tom is a member of the American Counseling
Association.
