Jessica Bishop, MHC, ACAS

Jessica is a Mental Health Counselor and Advanced Certified Autism Specialist. Jessica is our Autism Services Program Coordinator. She also provides short-term therapy, ADHD Coaching, and Parent Behavioral Consultation services for children/adolescents and their families at Freedom First Psychological Services. Jessica is also a member of the Freedom First Psychological Services evaluation team as a Testing Assistant.

Jessica holds multiple degrees and certifications, including her Masters degree in Counseling and Community Psychology, as well as Applied Behavior Analysis. She has over 10 years of experience providing behavioral health services to individuals in multiple capacities, such as psychiatric inpatient settings, in-home 1:1 ABA services, and outpatient therapy. She has worked with a wide range of individuals with a variety of behavioral and emotional challenges, including: Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, behavioral concerns, and learning disabilities.

Jessica specializes in working with children, adolescents, and emerging adults with autism and/or ADHD, as well as families and parents of those individuals. Jessica’s approach is behavioral and collaborative. She encourages clients to be an active participant in their treatment to gain insight into their presenting concerns and to improve overall well-being.

Jessica is a member of the American Psychological Association (div. 7, 17, 25, and 35), the American Counseling Association, the International Honor Society in Psychology (PSI CHI), New York Mental Health Counselors Association (NYMHCA), the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts (APBA), the New York State Associate for Behavior Analysis (NYSABA), and the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).

Jessica's services (including short-term therapy, ADHD Coaching, and Parent Behavioral Consultation) are private pay only at $60 per session.
